Once you have done a past life regression it gets easier to slip into the next regression and see the details. Currently I am a woman and mother of two in this life. In another one of my lives I was a 17th century business man. This past life regression I did was a group session. So it was a short look into a life that I needed to see at that time. You see I wasn't full-filled at my current job and and this life showed me what it felt like to be full-filled. When I regressed it was night. I was walking down a cobblestone road. Old wooden signs moved with the night breeze. They were made of wood and hanging by chains. The lamps were lit by fire and didn't ignite the streets as they would today. My shoes had heels and I appeared to be wearing stockings and a long jacket. I was older and under my arm I held my ledger from work. I had worked a full day and was proud of it. I was on my way home. I would get home and sit in my chair by the big fireplace, lighting was low. My wife, who was younger than I, would tend to me. She wore a long dress with apron and she had brown hair, a round face and wore a white cap. We were not wealthy, but we got by. My dog by my feet. I looked at the fire admiring my life. My wife's energy resonated as a friend of mine I have in this life. Our house was small and we lived within the city. It was a quick gimps into a life I needed to see to know how a working a full days work doing what I love feels like.
Before I start a past life regression session, I ask each client to state an intention before I regress so we can look into any issues or situations that would benefit them within their current life. It's amazing the lives that the subconscious brings forward for their benefit. Curious to find out? Contact me for a session of your own.

What is imagination? According to the dictionary it states, "the forming of new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses." So basically images or ideas we conceive come from our thoughts. But where do these images and thoughts come from? When doing past life regression a lot of times my clients, and even myself the first time, thought that it was all in our imagination. Truth is, it is within our imagination. The word imagination came from the Latin imaginatio, from the verb imaginari ‘picture to oneself'. Using our mind's eye we can see without seeing. We associate this with consciously controlled daydreaming. Therefore we consciously make it up. During hypnosis, the conscious mind will fight the subconscious mind. The conscious mind will be saying that you are making this up, but the subconscious mind is sending the images that you need to see. How do you know you are not making this up? You will see things that you may have never seen before. Possibly historical facts and a life that would be hard to make up. You will see details, people, even yourself as another person. In fact, I have had a client lookup a publication they ran back in the early 1900s. It took some digging but it was found and around the same era. The internet is a great tool for research, but it would have to stand out as something specific to fact check. Our imagination is a gift. It helps us come up with great ideas, it helps us manifest our desires and it takes us away for a little bit when we need a break. Imagination is the key to the ever-expanding advancement in our world. I think we need more trust in it and where it comes from.
Dreaming has been a great mystery to everyone. Funny dreams where we are laughing out loud to nightmares that jolt us awake. Our subconscious mind brings about images that can relate to our day, our past, and possibly our future. Sometimes I feel we can tap into our lives from different perspectives. In this article, I want to talk about past lives. In hypnosis, we consciously look into your past lives through regression. But in dreams, it might look like a story, and the details may surprise you. I have had dreams where I'm a man who smokes and can drive a standard jeep, which I have never done or been in this life. In another, I dreamed I was working with people in a restaurant that I knew, but upon waking have never seen them before in my life. Dreams are created by our subconscious mind and therefore have no conscious control of our dreams when we are asleep. Unless you are the 55% that can have lucid dreams, which means you have some conscious thought within your dream to know that you are dreaming. Past life dreams are interesting because they will show you in a historic time-period with people you used to know. It's good to keep a dreaming journal by your bedside to write down these dreams as there may be a reason why your subconscious is bringing this life to the surface. Maybe something in the day previous happened that recalled something in a past life. At night while your mind is relaxing can open you up to seeing this dream. Another sign of a past life dream would be more like a reoccuring nightmare. If you have a fear of water and each night you are drowning, this maybe a past life death that happened and your subconsious mind brings it up when your consious life is in tourmoil or under stress as those where the feelings you had before you drowned. In that case you would need a past life regression to release this fear associated with stress and tourmoil in this life. My stress reoccuring dream is about tornados. I can't say a lot of people are fond of tornados, besides storm chasers, but I can say they freak me out. It's possible in a life I was caught in one and the fear resonates within my subconsious when my life is not in order. I myself am an avid dreamer. I have had a few lucid dreams but mostly they are odd and full of details and symbols. I find dreaming so interesting. I still recall a nightmare I had as a child. It must of been when I was in grade 4. In the dream I was at a big public pool. It looked like the 1940s. There were lots of people in the pool. The pool had a grassy hill up to a wire fence. A boy maybe the age of 17, he was blonde and possibly German. He was being chased by soilders. They surrounded him on the small hill up to the fence. He said to them that they will never get away with it and that's when they all shot him. I woke from that dream and went straight to my parents bed. I'm unsure why my subconsious mind showed me this dream being only 10 years old. Maybe death was something I was trying to understand at the time? Have you had any dreams that seemed like it was from a different time or place? Please share them in the comments below.
